Viking shoes, crafted predominantly from leather, were practical and robust footwear worn by Norse people during the Viking Age (8th to 11th centuries). These shoes typically featured a simple design with minimal decoration, emphasizing durability for traversing varied terrains and climates across Scandinavia and beyond.

Our period historical leather shoes are made to order, although we do carry limited stock.
All of our historical footwear is made by hand to achieve an authentic, traditional look. We only use top quality, full grain cowhide and supply our shoes with removable insoles and thin rubber wear soles for grip & durability. Leather soles are available as an option.
Enquiries about other styles and periods are welcome.
Non standard designs welcome subject to time & workload.
